My health career started as a remedial and sports massage therapist, then progressed to clinical Pilates instructor and personal trainer. After some years I needed more information and wanted to have a better understanding of the human body so completed my physio degree. Since then I continually educate myself, working to understand many facets of the human body.
I enjoy working with people and educating them about what is happening with their injury. Every case is unique and the smallest variation in a treatment intervention can be the difference to providing a solution for the patients problem.
I understand the effects injuries can have on patients and I am committed to helping them overcome their injury. I work with each individual tailoring a plan to get them back to full function and pain free living.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, travelling (when you can), being outdoors, especially in the ocean. I enjoy learning new things, reading and home renovations.
The lower North Shore is easily accessible from many parts of Sydney and has a community vibe with all the benefits of big city living.

Stuart aims to treat each patient as an individual, taking a thorough approach to find the underlying source of pain. Stuart has had years of experience as a trainer and a coach, which has enabled him to utilise those skills effectively as a physiotherapist.
An obsession over learning how the body works and how it moves drove me to pursue physiotherapy. Being a physio allows me to immerse myself in constant learning, and draws out new technical challenges all the time. It also challenges my problem solving skills everyday, which means you never get bored. I also have a keen sense of wanting to help people. Being able to solve a person's pain enables that person to have a better quality of life. Therefore being able to help them enjoy moving around in the body they were given gives me great job satisfaction.
Helping to fix issues that have plagued people for years is what I enjoy most about physiotherapy. Seeing the light bulb go off when we can pinpoint why they have been struggling with pain for a long time is very rewarding.
I always look to find the root cause of people's problems. This means I will look at the whole person not just the sore spot. This leads to greater results and often motivates people excited to be part of the treatment process.
Keeping fit and healthy is what I really enjoy doing in my spare time. I love doing the olympic style of weightlifting, crossfit, bike riding, surfing. I will also go out hiking and like to go and explore new places I haven't been.
Crows Nest is a very friendly and easy suburb to get to. There is always a lot going on around where we are. I've always found Crows Nest to be a very pleasant place to visit.
