At Physio Fit Modbury, we believe in "Changing the health care experience for the better."
I have a passion for helping people achieve their goals and have always had an interest in the human body. I also got injured a lot when I was younger due to playing various sports and knowing first-hand how physiotherapy can change someone's life.
I enjoy helping people achieve their goals, get back to what they love doing, helping people achieve things that they didn't think were possible, and I love being able to interact with a wide variety of people.
Clients should choose me because I'm passionate about helping people achieve their goals, I'm easy to talk to. I have experience in sport, general population and NDIS clients. I also have extensive knowledge of gym exercises as I go to the gym myself.
When I'm not working, I enjoy playing footy, going to the gym, travelling (when we can), fishing and spending time with my friends and family. I cannot play footy and run due to knee surgery, so I know first-hand how frustrating injuries can be.
I like working in Modbury as it is a great place to see a wide variety of patients, from athletes to the general population and NDIS clients. I also like that there are a lot of sports clubs in the area.
Being involved with elite level sports when I was younger, I spent quite a bit of time with physiotherapists and could see the impact that they could have on people. I have also always been interested in helping people in general.
Being able to help people when they need it. You can have a significant impact on someone's life through physiotherapy. I am also able to stay around the sports that I love by being involved as a physiotherapist.
I listen, and I care about why someone has come to see me. It doesn't matter how small or big the issue is; I will give you my time and service to work out a way that helps you get what you want.
I enjoy staying active through long-distance running and volleyball, getting outdoors, camping, and exploring remote areas. I also love watching AFL and being involved with sport in any way.
Working in this community allows me to work with a variety of people from different walks of life. It's out of the busy city, people enjoy staying active, and it's just a nice place to be around.
I wanted to work in the health space, and I love how physiotherapy encourages people to be active and make the most of life. There is also a wide range of people you can work with and many specialities within the field.
I love helping people get back to doing the activities they love. It's gratifying to guide someone through an injury journey and help them come out the other end feeling stronger and more resilient.
I enjoy working with lots of different people, from high-level athletes to weekend warriors and people trying to get back into activity after some time off. I don't believe that sport or exercise should be exclusive to elite athletes, and everyone at any level will benefit from activity in their lives.
I like to stay active when I'm not working. I enjoy running and going to the gym. I also love hanging out with friends and family, especially doing things outdoors like hiking and camping. When I'm not doing something active, I love checking out new bars and restaurants.
The northeastern suburbs of Adelaide have many gyms and sporting clubs, so it's quite an active community. We are also located super close to many different hiking trails, which is a great way to get out in nature.
When I was young, I had excellent guidance from my physiotherapist. She got me back to doing what I love and back to playing sport. I love seeing people motivated to achieve their goals, whether it be sport, gym or functional life goals.
Being able to meet and be a positive difference in people's lives. I thoroughly enjoy testing myself with differential diagnosis and clinical reasoning skills, emphasizing both active and manual therapy management to best treat each patient.
For each patient I see, I emphasize the highest level of care through a thorough examination, comprehensive treatment and detailed plan. Whether that be getting you out of pain or returning you to high-level sport, your goals will be my number one priority.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time on the water, going to the gym and spending quality time with my friends and family. On the weekends I play football, which helps me keep fit and active, as well as keeping me busy most days of the week.
I've grown up in the North-Eastern suburbs, so I will always have a soft spot for the area and have a lot in common with the people I see and treat.
I became a physiotherapist due to my strong interest in biology and the human body. I worked as an exercise physiologist before working as a physio, and during this, I gained an interest in the rehabilitation process and wanted to study it further.
I love the variety, seeing lots of different people per week and hearing their stories. It is great when I can make a positive impact on peoples lives in whatever way I can.
A new patient should choose me because I love my job and try and bring as much enthusiasm to the consult as possible. I take an active approach to rehab to try and empower each individual to take charge of their recovery.
I enjoy being active, whether at the gym or outside, riding my bike or hiking. I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction. Also, enjoy catching up with friends for dinner and a movie
I enjoy working in Modbury because I grew up in the area and have a connection with the community. Most of my friends and family are still in the area.
My background as a competitive netball player and swimmer meant I spent a lot of time focusing on and working with professionals with strength and conditioning, nutrition and injury prevention/rehabilitation. I loved that the basis of keeping athletes performing at their best and returning from injury was based on the appropriate combination of active, exercise prescription and overall health and well-being concepts. I also loved the problem-solving aspect of diagnosing an injury and choosing the best management for that individual.
I love going through the whole rehabilitation journey with an individual and seeing them reach their goals, whether that is a return to sport or other activity. It is rewarding to see people get stronger and be able to do things that they perhaps once doubted themselves in doing and get back to doing what they love.
I'm confident in the knowledge I have gained from my additional degrees in Exercise Science and Sports Physiotherapy and my experience working as a Senior Sports Physio both in private practice and alongside elite and semi-elite athletes. This has helped me to be able to quickly diagnose an injury and set out the best, evidence-based rehabilitation plan for my client to help them return to activity as soon as possible.
Outside of work, I love keeping active myself by following my strength or running based program at the gym, getting outdoors on the weekends for hikes or reformer pilates. I also love reading/learning, cooking or finding new places to eat!
Our community are generally quite active and engaged. We work with a lot of local gyms and sporting clubs, as well as people who like to keep themselves healthy, keep their body moving or wanting to try something new!

Physio Modbury is (from our research) one of the most common searches our patient's use to find us, followed by Physiotherapist Modbury and interestingly, Physiotherapy Modbury. Patients often search us by suburb first, however, and as a result, some other typical searches include Modbury Physio, Modbury Physiotherapist and or Modbury Physiotherapy. Though not a direct variation to the two above, a broader approach is often taken with a search like; physio near me, or if a practice is more intended then physiotherapy near me is quite often the search. We have found that depending on the demographics the use of the word 'in' features quite heavily, and so we'll often see Physio in Modbury, Physiotherapist in Modbury and Physiotherapy in Modbury as common phrases. In the end, we do our best to be as visible and accessible for our patients in and around our local area as possible.
