General FAQs

What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy refers to the procedure or treatment plan which helps an individual to recover from injuries or other problems. Health issues in the form of mobility problems, pain in different areas, and stiffness might arise after an injury.

In such a situation, physiotherapists can help! They are the people who are qualified and experienced in treating such conditions. Through their knowledge and skills, they can help individuals get back their normal life. Physiotherapists use different tools or techniques for the purpose which include soft tissue mobilisation method or massage therapy, along with muscle re-education, and hydrotherapy.

Other Treatment Options:

You can rely on physiotherapists because they are trained for at least 4 years at University. They either have a Bachelor’s degree or have a Master’s degree. Their training is focused majorly on the functioning of the human body. They have a thorough knowledge of biology; they are experts in normal human body functions and anatomy.

As you get in touch with a physiotherapist, your condition is thoroughly assessed. Based on your health, a treatment plan is made so that the issue is successfully addressed. The main objective of your physiotherapist is to help you get back to your normal life as soon as you can.

For your appointment with any physiotherapist in Australia, there is no requirement for a doctor’s referral. The goal of your physio will be to help you get back to your normal life.
